DIGITAL REMASTERING

Using Spectral Layers, Sound Forge, and DC ART digital audio restoration tools, we're able to convert old analog recordings to a cleaner, sharper digital sound. Remastering old recordings can make them sound truer to the original studio recording than ever before. Audio frequency spectrums are expanded, resulting in crisper, higher highs and fuller, resonating lows. Digital remastering also removes unwanted noise like pops and scratches, leaving you with a recording that sounds like it was originally intended if not better.

The Audio Lab staff has become so well known for their expertise in remastering that popular seventies rockers Wishbone Ash have come to the Audio Lab to remaster their entire catalog of early seventies rock classics for re-releases, as has Idaho's outlaw country legend Pinto Bennett with his entire collection of recordings dating back to the mid 70's
