Audio Lab Recording Studios is pleased to announce the 2018 release of, "Ida Ho Ho: A Holiday Collection of Idaho Musicians" benefitting The Women’s and Children’s Alliance. The CD has become a yearly top seller at The Record Exchange, with some of Idaho’s best artists contributing their time and talent. The CD releases on November 23rd.
With local musician Steve Fulton serving as producer throughout the series the album, now in its 9th year Ida Ho Ho has topped the best-seller list at The Record Exchange each of the last seven years.
As in the past, the album serves up an Idahoan take on Christmas music, showcases established and upcoming local musicians, covers a variety of musical genres, and includes both original holiday songs and unique covers of holiday favorites. The 2018 album features the art of iconic Idaho artist Ward Hooper. Ward has designed posters for everything from the smallest event to large touring musical acts and has created several of the most recognizable images of Idaho.
“We are so excited and humbled to have been chosen as the beneficiary for proceeds from the Ida Ho Ho CD,” said Bea Black, Executive Director of the Women’s and Children’s Alliance. “What a truly amazing gift, from local Idaho artists to our clients, a gift that will fund the safe shelter and wraparound services they need to break the cycle of domestic violence for themselves and their children.”
